The Marvel HeroClix: Avengers vs. X-Men - Avengers Starter is a retail
SKU that gives players a hint of the exciting action to come in the
Marvel HeroClix: Avengers vs. X-Men storyline event, which begins
December 2013.
- The Marvel HeroClix: Avengers vs. X-Men - Avengers
Starter is one of two Starter sets intended for use with the Avengers
vs. X-Men Storyline Organized Play event. Players must choose to play as
either the Avengers or the XMen, and must use at least one figure from
that starter in each month's Avengers vs. X-Men storyline event!

The Marvel HeroClix: Avengers vs. X-Men - Avengers Starter comes with
six Avengers HeroClix SwitchClix figures (not found anywhere else!) and
character cards, custom Avengers dice, custom AvX action tokens, object
and terrain tokens, HeroClix core rulebook, HeroClix Powers and
Abilities card and two maps.
- All of the figures found in the
Avengers Starter utilize SwitchClix technology and are intended for use
with a special Avengers Team Base which is a participation prize in the
Avengers vs. X-Men Storyline Organized Play final event!
