Gentle Giant Studios is once again setting a new standard for sculpted mini-busts. This new series, distributed by Dark Horse, features characters from the most influential film in decades, The Matrix. The series will concentrate on characters from the original film and the two sequels scheduled for 2003. It is only fitting that the initial release be the main character NEO. Portrayed by Keanu Reeves, this sculpture is based upon actual three-dimensional scans of the actor himself. Joining Neo will be none other than the dangerous and beautiful Trinity. Portrayed in the films by Carrie-Ann Moss, she is as close to reality as is possible in a sculpture. Based on actual three-dimensional computer scanning, the realism extends even to details like her sun glasses, which like Neo's are removable. Each bust will be packaged in deluxe special packaging, and will be a numbered, limited edition. Exact edition size has not been finally determined by Gentle Giant as of press time.
